NO MONEY TO DO IT!

Please contact us at hola@safariscostarica.com if you cannot find an answer to your question

Costa Rica offers a wide range of activities.  If you want to the normal day to day expensive tourism route. If it is nature you are looking for, OSA Penninsula is where its at. The further South you go from Uvita, the better it gets.  We offer Primary forest in the abundance with all types of birds and animals.

We recommend some free activities such as visiting Dominical Beach, Rio Barú in Dominical with its large natural pools, Dominicalito Beach, excellent for surfing beginners, Dominicalito Waterfall, Hermosa Beach in Uvita, La Posa del Bamboo in Uvita, Ventanas Beach in Ojochal, and El Pavon Waterfall near Ojochal.

We offer a wide range of commercial activities, but we are more focused on offering authentic, adventurous and non-commercial activities. Activities can be arranged from Uvita onward, but our bread and butter is in OSA, Drake Bay, where in addition to our commercial and exclusive tours, you can hike for free. For example, and the most recommended, from Agujitas (downtown Drake Bay) to San Josecito, this walk borders the coast and the primary forest. It is a relatively easy hike with abundant flora, fauna, beaches, and rivers. Also, before reaching Playa San Josecito, there is Rio Claro, where you can cool off. If the tide is high, you can call the canoe man for $2 to take you to the other side. At Playa San Josecito, at low tide, you can snorkel for free if you bring a mask and the tide allows it. The round trip takes approximately 7 hours. Remember that there are no ATMs in Drake Bay, so you must bring your flashlight, hiking shoes and sandals, insect repellent, and sunscreen.

The best time to visit Safaris Costa Rica is from December to May, when the weather is most pleasant. British Airways runs direct to San Jose International airport from November to April.
You can tour Southern Costa Rica without any problem in a rented car or motorcycle. Activities to Corcovado Park and Caño Island are available every day, as are the boats from the Sierpe Mangroves to Drake Bay and vice versa.

Cash is if possible, depend we recommend to buy water, prepare for rain and sunny days, sun block, repelent, flashlight, hiking shoes, sandals, cap, glasses, long t shirt, long pants & drybag.
