Activity schedule:
You will be collected from your accommodation at 9am by taxi and dropped off at our remote location where you will begin your 45 minute walk into the jungle. Once there, set up your campsite next to the river or stay in the house, the choice is yours. Enjoy nature, the surrounding areas and relax in the natural pools on the river.

Exclusive to Safaris Costa Rica, join us for an original journey into a remote part of the primary forest where you will camp for two nights on a private estate owned by a legendary man of the jungle. Connect yourself with GAIA on this unique experience and disconnect with the outside world. Completely off the grid, this experience offers water from a spring, fire/gas, no electricity, mobile reception or Wifi.
Starting early, with a small taxi ride, you will be dropped off on a trail and begin the 45 minute easy/intermediate walk to our private location situated next to a river and neighbouring Corcovado National Park. Facilities include a small Casita for kitchen, bathroom, dining area and a viewing deck. The tents will be located next the river for the best experience, and sleeps a total of eight people in four tents. Minimum of 2 and Maximum of 8 for this experience. Our man of the jungle will escort you to your location where you will find, depending on the season, a garden of herbs and fruits available to you at no extra cost. There will be a bonfire prepared and when settled our man will depart and leave you alone for the night. This is a totally natural experience with no other sounds other than that of nature 100% guaranteed.
There are many animals in this area but they are completely wild and sometimes hard to see. With a little luck you will get to see Tolomooco, Tapir, Peccaries, Agoutis, Coatis, Maccaws, Toucans and various other animals and bird species, including Spider, Howler and White Faced Capuchins.
You will see the natural pools in the river available for your use only. Feel free to explore the trails prepared for you but be aware, you are in the jungle. For an additional fee, we can provide tour guide that can translate and guide you.
