Explore the mangrove forest of the Sierpe River on the way to Corcovado National Park (San Pedrillo Station), located in the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica.

Terraba/ Sierpe is the biggest mangrove in Costa Rica. Here you can see crocodiles, birds, monkeys, and wildlife, while you take a ride to the ocean by boat.

Caño Island is located in the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica. The Terraba/ Sierpe is the biggest mangrove in Costa Rica. You will see crocodiles, birds, monkeys and other wildlife on your boat ride out to the ocean.

Immersed in the jungle, waterfalls, hikes, fauna, spectacular views, An excellent option for families and groups looking to live a unique 4×4 adventure in Costa Rica. we will be meeting at the office located in Dominical town, we will sign some waivers and take the lunch orders.

You will need 4WD transportation to arrive at the starting point, please let me know if you need this service to coordinate as well.

Once you arrive at the starting point the ATV tour starts driving approximately for 1 hour until we reach the waterfall entrance, from there it is a very easy 15 minutes hike to the waterfall.

Then at the waterfall you can swim, slide in some natural slides made of rocks and for the wild people to dare to jump off a cliff of 24 feet.

You may visit Playa Hermosa, adjacent to Ballena Marine National Park, ride on the woods or toward the waterfall and take a dip or enjoy an astonishing sunset.

The Terraba-Sierpe National Wetland is the largest in Costa Rica. Formed by the two rivers Térraba and Sierpe, with more than 26,779 hectares.

It is the second largest in Central America. One of the 12 RAMSAR sites in Costa Rica. It offers the opportunity to observe the great natural beauty of the different ecosystems and the great variety of species found in the area of the Del Rio Sierpe aquatic trails.
